About us
CADabilty was established in 1992 by Andy Gallop following nearly 20 years working as a PCB Designer / Manager for various design bureaux and manufacturers.
As well as PCB design, the company also ran training programs for personnel throughout the electronics industry – from PCB Designers looking to sharpen their skills in CAD, to purchasing staff wishing to increase their knowledge of the very items they were responsible for buying.
Today the emphasis is very much on design – having completed thousands of jobs since that time.

As a service bureau we have been involved in probably all types of design…in virtually all branches of electronics including:
Surface Mount Technology, Mixed Technology, Multilayer, Flexi and Flexi-rigid, Analogue / R.F. Designs, Matched Impedance, Automotive, Aerospace and Defence, Medical, Undersea Exploration, Communications and Silicon Development.
Cost-Effective
If required, we are able to work on our clients’ premises – whether it be for a few hours or a few weeks. This, coupled with the ability to keep to short design timescales, ensures delivery of an efficiently produced and cost-effective finished product.
Co-Operation
The company ethos has always been service – often working weekends and even bank holidays to help clients to reach their deadlines. We find the best way to ensure a correct design is full co-operation with the engineer throughout the design – for example, if we feel it is necessary to visit the customer to see first-hand a complex enclosure which houses the board – that’s what we do!
